Pssst… don’t tell anybody: this is the first time I am using WordPress and so this is my very first blog post.

I guess you are now wondering why somebody who has next to no experience with this content management software, offers to take care of your design.

Well, I am not a newbie in web design and development. I worked with other softwares, but most of the time I coded sites myself from the ground up. So I know a bit about the basics and not just how to set up a blog system.

I love the simplicity of WordPress and as a lot of people use it for all kinds of web projects, I decided to specialize in it. I am exited to see what I can do with it and what kind of themes I will develop. This week I came across the Genesis Framework and I just love the idea behind it. I will use this framework as a base for my designs. I guess it will be a good starting point.

I am looking forward to start this journey with you. My first task is setting up a layout for this site.
